The
Lego
train never stops, but it does run a little faster on the first of every month. Lego kicks off each month by releasing some of its more notable sets, usually its officially licensed creations, and even though it’s Easter Monday, April 1 is no different. Its elaborate
Batman: The Animated Series
and
Dungeons & Dragons
sets are now both available to buy, exclusively through the Lego store, the links to their store pages available in the boxes below.

The Red Dragon’s Tale set
is the first for D&D, a collaboration brought about not only by the tabletop game’s 50th anniversary but also via a contest where fans of the game could submit their ideas in the hope they’d become a reality. The winning entry was tweaked to create the set below, made up of more than 3,500 pieces that come together to create a tavern, a dungeon, and a tower that its Lego dragon can wrap around.

Both The Red Dragon’s Tale and Batman: The Animated Series sets are currently only available to buy for Lego Insiders and will go on general sale from April 4. Members will also get a Lego Mimic Dice Box with the D&D set.

The other big set released today is
Lego’s interpretation of Gotham City
. Far from a first like the D&D set, Lego and Batman’s relationship stretches back years, but this might be the most special
DC
set we’ve seen so far. A recreation of the Gotham City skyline in Batman: The Animated Series when complete, its 4,210 pieces create a landscape that is loaded with Easter eggs, and there are even a few Minifigures included.

Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale Set

Lego’s first team-up with Dungeons & Dragons resulted in this, the Red Dragon’s Tale set. Made up of 3,745 pieces and including six Minifigures, the set was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic roleplaying game.

Other Lego releases available starting today include new Disney keychains –
Lego Mirabel
and
Lego Snow White
– and
the first in a new series of Peppa Pig Lego sets
. Made of Lego’s bigger Duplo blocks for younger builders, the set is the first of many Peppa Pig additions planned and includes Peppa and Grandpa Pig Minifigures.

Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City Lego Set

This 4,210-piece set turns the skyline from Batman: The Animated Series into Lego. Not only does it include four Minifigures and a Lego Bat-Signal, but there are also a tonne of Easter eggs waiting to be found as you piece the set together.

The store pages for three new Super Mario Lego sets are also now live, but it’s going to be a while before you can buy them. Lego celebrated Mario Day by revealing
Bowser Express Train
,
King Boo’s Haunted Mansion
, and
Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle
sets, all three launching on August 1, 2024. It also confirmed
Mario Kart sets are coming in 2025
, but an indication of what exactly those sets might look like hasn’t been shown.
